The 3 simple steps to transfer your Ethereum from Trust Wallet
You can use the website or mobile device to access the Binance exchange and the Trust Wallet. While logged in to both the Binance account and Trust Wallet account:
Step 1: Get Your Binance Deposit Address

On your Binance App or Binance web dashboard;
- Go to the ‘Wallets’ tab.
- Select ‘Spot Wallet’
- Choose Ethereum (ETH)
- Click/Tap on the Deposit button.
- Choose the right network for making deposits (e.g., ERC-20 for the ETH tokens, or BSC for Binance-peg Ethereum tokens)
- Scan the QR Code of the deposit address. Alternatively, manually copy the deposit address. This is the address that you will use to send your ETH from Trust Wallet
Step 2: Send Crypto from Trust Wallet to Binance

On your Trust Wallet mobile app dashboard or browser extension;
- Go to the ‘Wallets’ tab.
- Tap/Click on Ethereum (ETH)
- Tap/Click on the Send button
- In the ‘Recipient Address’ field, use the QR Code app on Binance to capture the saved deposit address you got in Step (1), above. In case you copied it manually, you can now paste it.
- In the Amount field, insert the amount of ETH you want to send.
- Tap/Click on the ‘Continue’ button. You may be prompted to enter biometric verification or password (e.g., OTP) to authorize the transfer
- Carefully review the transaction details for correctness. This includes ascertaining the availability of the required transaction fee (including the network fee) to be deducted from your Trust Wallet
- After review, tap/click on the Confirm button
Step 3: Patiently wait for the transaction processing to complete
The amount of time you will have to wait depends on the Ethereum network’s activity level. If the network is not very active, the transaction process will take less time.
After a successful transfer process, your Eth tokens will be reflected among the recent transactions in the ‘Recent Deposits’ section on the Spot wallet on your Binance account.
Tips to ensure a successful transfer process
1. Accuracy tip
Fact-check your transaction details. Most importantly, ensure the accuracy of your wallet address.
Integrating your Binance Pay with your Trust Wallet will save you from the usual complexity of copying and pasting wallet addresses. Binance Pay also removes the risk of entering the wrong wallet address. This is because using Binance Pay to make a transfer will not require you to enter your wallet address. To use Binance Pay, simply tap/click on the ‘Deposit from Exchange’ button in your Trust Wallet and choose ‘Binance’. This is the easiest way to transfer ETH tokens from the Trust Wallet app to the Binance exchange.
2. Speed up tip
To speed up the transaction process, use Binance Smart Chain (BSC). You not only get to experience faster transactions but also lower fees. You need to convert ETH tokens into Binance-peg Ethereum tokens to allow them to be transferred through BSC.
Binance-peg Ethereum is just an ordinary ETH token that has been wrapped up to enable it to use the Binance Smart Chain. Thus, you can easily convert it back to an ordinary ETH token.
3. Costing tip
Different networks charge different gas fees. Furthermore, even on the same network, gas fees vary depending on traffic flow.
Use EtherScan Gas Tracker to determine the Ethereum network fee before sending ETH. This will ensure that you can factor in your transaction cost in advance. If your transfer is not urgent, you can save on costs by transferring when the gas fee is lower.
Based on the required gas fee, make sure that your Trust Wallet has sufficient ETH to cover your gas fee.
4. Tracking tip
Take note of the transaction ID (TXID) which is reflected after making the transfer. This will enable you to track the transfer status and follow up in case of any issues.
The support team will find it easier to help you when you quote your TXID when seeking help. This will enable your issue to be resolved faster.
Furthermore, the TXID will enable you to easily track your transaction history.
5. Skill tip
Practice makes perfect. You don’t have to transact a lot to gain these skills. Take advantage of TestNet tryouts. TestNet mimics the real blockchain and thus you can practice without risking your assets. This is important if you are new to the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
